Objective: To observe clinical effectiveness of ultrasound-guided acupotomy nerve stimulation in the treatment of cervical
spondylotic radiculopathy. Methods: According to random number table method, 60 patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy were
divided into observation group and control group, with 30 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with acupotomy nerve
stimulation once a week for 3 weeks, while the control group was treated with acupuncture once a day for 3 weeks. Visual analog scale (VAS),
neck disability index (NDI), Tanaka Yasuhisa score, F-wave occurrence rate and conduction velocity of ulnar nerve and median nerve were
observed before treatment, 1 week and 3 weeks after treatment. Results: Compared with the control group, after 1 week and 3 weeks of
treatment, the VAS score, NDI, Yasuhisa Tanaka score, F-wave occurrence rate and conduction velocity of ulnar nerve and median nerve of
observation group was significantly better than that of the control group (P<0.05). The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.33%;
the total effective rate of the control group was 86.66%, and the total effective rate of the observation group was better than that of the control
group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Ultrasound-guided acupotomy nerve stimulation in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy is safe
and effective, which is better than acupuncture. |
